Throughout all then entire series of The Office, Jim and Dwight have used every disconfirming message (Behaviors that imply a lack of regard for another person (339)) in the book. In season 7, episode 11 and 12 Dwight and Jim participate in verbal abuse (an overt form of disconfirming message that involves using words to hurt poeple emotionally or psychologically (339))  more than any other (actually more of a physical abuse).

While Jim and Dwight sit at their desk like every other day, Jim turns to look out the window. He notices that it is snowing. "It's snowing!" he says excitedly.
Dwight replies in a mocking tone "Oh my gosh, its the first snowfall of Christmas, is that magical for you little girl? Can you not wait to have a hot chocolate and cuddle up with papa, and tell him all your Christmas dreams.... Hmm?......" Then back to his snarky tone, "It's not even a real snow. It's dusting. Pitiful." Dwight, clearly using the verbal abuse disconfirming message.
Next Jim gets up from his desk and goes outside. He makes a snowball, comes in and nails Dwight right in the face. The whole office laughs and Dwight is very embarressed with snow all over his face. Dwight then says, "Damn it Jim! You cannot throw snowballs in here!"
"Well it's not a snowball because it's only dusting." says Jim.
"You apologize to me right now." says Dwight.
"You have something on your nose." says Jim mocking that him as snow drips off Dwight's face.
"You apologize to me right now."
        "No." says Jim.
"Very well then, I challenge you to a snowball fight on the first real snow fall of winter."
        "You got it."

After this, eventually the first real snow fall happens in this episode and Dwight terrorizes Jim with secretly attacking him throughout the day with snow balls, to the point that Jim surrenders.
